ok but when jordan peele was accepting his award and said “i stopped writing this movie about 20 times because i thought it was impossible… but i kept coming back to it because i knew if someone would let me make this movie that people would hear it and people would see it” and i thought that was really cool and i hope future writers (especially black writers) take that to heart and not give up on their writing.
