@gravityfying Seriously, you were my biggest inspiration, i was so sad i almost cried

Hey. So I’m in this conversation. Let me say….I wish you hadn’t made it public. I wish you hadn’t made it a bigger deal than it needs to be. I wish you would’ve come to me, or gravity if you saw this.

Because I’ll agree. I’m a bitch. I’m a huge bitch. You don’t deserve that. But I didn’t think you’d ever see this. See what I said. This was supposed to be private. Still, I have no right to say what I said. But sometimes anger gets the best of me.

I want you to ignore what I’ve said, and keep doing what you want to do. You should never let other people’s opinions stop you.

I wish whoever leaked this knows what they’ve done.

This is going to hurt the fandom. This is going to hurt us. This isn’t going to end well and it sucks.

And I want to apologize for my behavior.

But please, next time, come talk to me in private.

Yo y’all sorry for start drama in this but y’all know how I am I gotta say junk on the face.

Hey, you, look at my dead eyes and tell me, would have you felt bad if this shit was kept behind doors?

Would you feel remorse for your words if this was never published?

I ain’t no fuckin saint but what you did is utterly disrespectful and telling them “it should have been kept behind doors” is just wanting to fuckin guilt-trip them because they had the GUTS you mf lack to stand on their own two feet by themselves instead of hovering in a rathole saying ableist junk and telling an artist they deserve death just bc they are inspired by someone.

People is going against your throat because we ain’t likin bullies, you guys fuckin CRUSHED a person’s inspiration because y’all thought having them blocked would be enough.

Do you draw? Do you create art? Imagine if this happened to you, how would that feel?.

Have a good fuckin night living with that weight on your soul, bastard.

I’m not one for super big callouts like this, but this kind of bs pisses me off and this issue needs to be addressed more, so here we go.

Before I start, I wanna say that I’m proud of OP for making this public. No artist should be saying this kind of shit about those who draw inspiration from them, behind closed doors or not. It’s disrespectful and pathetic how someone could degrade a person’s work like this. It’s an even bigger spit to the face when they try to smooth it over with “it’s supposed to be private, don’t worry about it lol.” They hurt you, and they should be giving you a proper apology. Not the half-assed shit I just died inside reading.

I hate how much of an issue shitting on someone’s art has become. It shouldn’t be an issue. We should be proud when we see someone taking inspiration from our creations and making gorgeous creations of their own. We shouldn’t be saying shit like what I’m seeing up there. There’s no good reason to. It’s not funny, it’s not cool, it doesn’t make you the better person. It actually makes you the fucking nightmare us unpopular artists worry about when we put up our art. The kind of assholes who take someone’s creation, something they spent hours, maybe even days or weeks on, and put it in a cringe compilation for some stupid reason that I’ll never comprehend. Or maybe even they just make fun of it with their friends. Doesn’t make it any less hurtful.

As artists, we shouldn’t be doing this kind of shit. We shouldn’t be tearing each other down for the sake of showing who’s “better at art,” we should be raising each other up. We should be saying “holy crap this is awesome!” When someone makes something for you or inspired by something you’ve done, you should be jumping for joy, screaming about it for days because someone you don’t even know did this beautiful, wonderful thing. They could have been doing it for a close friend, but they chose you. You were what came to mind when they created it.

Why can’t you be happy about it?

I’m making a list of Team Fortress 2 fusions and how stable they are (Unstable, Iffy, Stable) and I came up with a hc. as this is a Steven Universe based au, my explanation will mainly be based on that

ok, so you know how when the characters in SU fuse they usually have something about them that makes them a little less human looking (height, arms, eyes, leggys, entire fucking face)

well, I was thinking about Garnet and how as a fusion, she’s super fucking stable, like the only two things that make her stand out is her 3rd eye and her height (which is barely noticeable). if we compare her to the relationship metaphor she represents, you’d have to consider the fact that no relationship starts out as stable as she is. there’s always that rockiness right from the start when you’re just figuring each other out. so if you’re fused, you’ve likely got more than two eyes or arms and you might be a fucking giant. but as the relationship goes on, you find you’re connected more. as a fusion, you’re prolly noticing changes to the form, maybe one day you find that you’ve only got 2 arms, or you shrunk, or you don’t have as many eyes.

my point is, what if in a universe where people can fuse (like SU or aus based off it), the closer you get to someone, the more humanoid your fusion becomes?
