Tenth Class idea: cameraman

Essentially an invisible liberal arts major who runs around filming battles for the administrator. Wears shorts and graphic tees. Came out to George Takei at a Star trek convention before he came out to his parents. Is always a little out of breath. Whispers ‘what the fuck’ a lot. None of the other team members knows he even exists.

In traditional Sam fashion I’ve decided to do this at 12:30 at night so here you go

There’s two cameramen, a guy named Davey and a girl named Abe. They were best friends throughout college, working on elaborate fan projects whenever they could. Unfortunately these projects left them with little time to network so once they graduated they didn’t have their foot in any doors, despite crazy talent. So, when some construction companies out in New Mexico offered them stable jobs with good salaries, artistic freedom, and the chance to stay near their best bud, they took them without any question and immediately got in way, way over their heads.

While reporting fights back to the administrator is their primary task, it’s not what Helen hired them for. That would be the creation of propaganda and false evidence. Merc get in trouble robbing the wrong shop? Well, look at the video footage, they were never there. Local town getting a bit too curious about the loud noises coming from the gravel yards a few miles away? Produce a how it’s made style video describing the prices of gravel making, and how it’s the energy source of tomorrow! Need to send a crystal clear message to a competitor? These two know about snuff, and I’m not talking about tobacco. Of course, both Abe and Davey struggle with the morality of their new jobs, but their parents are happy, they’re both talking to nice girls around town, and the money sure is good…

So yeah, Abe and Davey, everyone. I’ve still got a few ideas about them that I might write out proper, but in the meanwhile, if you’ve got any questions about them, ask away! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve last made a character, and I’m excited.
