There’s no need for you to create black history month. By doing this you are actually segregating your history from anyone else’s, which is exactly what you preach against. By doing so, you are affirming the power of whites in that white history is far too complex and detailed, so much so that it completely overshadows any black historical achievements. If you really believed in embracing black history, why create your own personal month when it should be regarded as part of American history?
